In this paper I will talk about how women that suffer from prenatal and postpartum depression can use different activities and ideas to overcome this depression and positively affect their childs development. Some activities that a woman with prenatal depression can do to overcome this depression is talking and singing to her unborn baby this can help you to realize that you have something amazing growing inside you because most babies respond to their parents voice. An unborn fetus starts hearing things at 8 weeks. Some women put head phones on their bellies so the baby can hear the music along with letting loved ones talk to their bellies.
