De La Salle University College of Engineering Mechanical Engineering Department Ventura, Raissa   LBYME16 EE1 I. Title of Experiment: Experiment Number 9: Tubular Condenser II. Analysis and Conclusion: The steam pressure and the water rate are kept constant throughout the runs. We can  see from the results that the water temperature in the inlet was higher than that of the outlet.  These temperatures stayed roughly the same all throughout the runs. The steam condensed in  kg increased throughout the runs and the steam temperature in the inlet was also higher than in  the outlet. The objective of the experiment is to find the relationship of the condenser capacity to  the amount of cooling water used and to determine the overall heat-transfer coefficients. The  results show that the steam condensate increases in amount as the temperature of the input  steam and water are increased. Overall heat-transfer coefficient is computed by
