2009-10 ETF One-Time Requests – CHASS Anthropology: 12 Disarticulated Human Skeletons of Natural Bone. Amount Requested: $50,000 Short Description:   The Anthropology program requests a total of $50,000 in order to purchase  12 disarticulated human skeletons of natural bone.  These skeletons that we are  requesting are to be used primarily in ANT 421/521 Human Osteology, which is  taught each fall semester.  They would additionally be used in ANT 424  Bioarchaeology and ANT 429 Advanced Forensic Methods, courses that are taught  at least once a year or every other year, depending on program size.  In ANT  421/521, each student in the course should be assigned an individual skeleton at the  beginning of the semester that they would use on a weekly basis to study the  various bones of the skeleton that are relevant for a particular class week. The
