Unformatted text preview: Request for one time ETF funding for the 2009-10 Academic Year Requesting Unit: Office of Information Technology Project: Classroom technology upgrade for Daniels 434 Short description of how the equipment will be used (250 words or less) Daniels 434 is a 191 seat classroom, that has minimal technology currently installed (projector only). The Office of Information Technology requests $33,900 in one-time ETF funding to replace the projector and install sound reinforcement, a computer, control system, DVD/VCR, document camera and lectern. Although this is a ClassTech-supported space, it has never been outfitted with all the equipment that faculty expect in a ClassTech room because the room does not have the infrastructure (conduit and wiring) to support the additional equipment. Facilities has placed this room at the top of their priority list for renovations this fiscal year and OIT would prefer to install updated technology as part of that renovation process.
