More than thirty countries game including Australia, Canada, China, Germany, Japan, Korea and the USA. The growth is very costly but effective. Local development programs with professional officers working in school and community schemes are helping promote and teach this great sport. (AYLL 2010 ) Lacrosse is able to deliver high quality PE as part of statewide Curriculum using the active and flexible school based games of Pop Lacrosse and LAX as well as the traditional field sport. In 2004 the lacrosse development program delivered curriculum and extra-curriculum lacrosse to more and more children every week. Lacrosse is popular in areas of social deprivation where because of its adaptability to any facility or group it can easily and cost effectively be introduced. In addition Lacrosse helps those who play other sports particularly Football with a great opportunity to cross train in another sport and keep themselves in shape and help keep from being injured easily. Lacrosse has demonstrated, through a knowledgeable professional and volunteer workforce, Effective management and strong corporate governance. For the last decade the AYLL has strictly monitored its development work producing robust and comprehensive data enabling Marketing Lacrosse the sports growth potential to be recognized. Lacrosse has been identified by as a developmental Sport which can deliver national targets in raising levels of grass roots participation, especially for females, and encourage a healthier more active nation.especially for females, and encourage a healthier more active nation....
