a. Dell's strategy for success in the market place is linked to its product leadership and customer value proposition. According to the company's 2005 10-K filing, "Dell's global market leadership is the result of a persistent focus on delivering the best possible customer experience by selling products and services directly to customers" (Form10-K 2005 p1).
