Restaurant Monitoring Case A high-class restaurant is planning to install a digital camera system in the dining room so that the wait staff can watch the tables on monitors to see when the people at each table have finished salads or appetizers and are ready for their entrees. What is your initial reaction to this use of cameras? As a customer, how would you feel about eating in the restaurant? If you were an employee, what concerns would you have about their use? What Business Ethics is Not Ethics is not the same as feelings. Feelings are symptoms or reactions Ethics is not religion. Zealots Ethics is not following the law. A function of power. Ethics is not following culturally accepted norms. Slavery Ethics is not science. Just because something is scientifically or technologically possible, it may not be ethical to do it.
