Week 8 CH19A, Pg 676, P14 The daily demand for a high-energy drink from a given vending machine is either 20, 21, 22, or 23 with probabilities 0.4, 0.3, 0.2, or 0.1, respectively. Assume the following random numbers have been generated: 08, 54, 74, 66, 52, 58, 03, 22, 89, and 85. Using these numbers, generate the daily drink sales for 10 days. From the above figure we can calculate Average daily Drink Sales Average daily Drink Sales = 08+54+74+66+52+58+03+22+89+85 10 Hence the Simple average daily drink sales is 51.1 per day From the above figure we can calculate Average daily Drink Sales on probabilities but here not mentioned 10 days probabilities but assuming 1/10= 0.10 for every day Random Number Probability Daily Drink

### What students are saying

• As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

• I cannot even describe how much Course Hero helped me this summer. It’s truly become something I can always rely on and help me. In the end, I was not only able to survive summer classes, but I was able to thrive thanks to Course Hero.

Dana University of Pennsylvania ‘17, Course Hero Intern

• The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
