QUALITY ASSURANCE IIM DOCUMENTATION Page 3 of 15 GUIDELINES FOR CORROSION MONITORING OF VESSELS BY NON-DESTRUCTIVE EXAMINATION METHODS IIM-OPR-064/2:0 This document contains proprietary information and must not be copied or otherwise used without the written permission of Oceaneering 1.0 INTRODUCTION This document is provided to assist inspection personnel employed by Oceaneering on vessel corrosion monitoring activities achieve a consistent standard of NDT method inspection and reporting detail. Inspection contractors shall have approved for use by Oceaneering a complete set of NDT method procedures as deemed necessary for efficient completion of projected workscopes prior to commencement of inspection. Personnel shall be approved by Oceaneering for those duties in which they are to be employed prior to mobilisation and may be required to undertake a practical examination to confirm suitable job experience. Oceaneering may audit the performance of all Non-Destructive Examination personnel as necessary and instruct the contractor that he ceases to use personnel whose performance is considered unsatisfactory. 2.0 REFERENCES None 3.0 DEFINITIONS IIM/ IIA Inspection and Integrity Management (IIM)/ Independent Inspection Authority (IIA). Applies to the Oceaneering Departments that operate under ISO/ IEC 17020 (EN 45004) ACET Asset Condition Evaluation Tool The ‘onstream’ monitoring system used by Oceaneering to store and analyse data. This adopts the same feature identification codes and nomenclature used by the earlier CORTRAN monitoring system, which it supersedes.
