Four Day Course Encompassing RBI Principles & Application
One Day Appreciation Of RBI
The course is designed to prepare those making choices in which RBI methodology to adopt, differences
across industry and to prepare those personnel who will serve on RBI action teams. The course will use
the API RP 580 general principles before expanding into specifics as per API RP 581 and the UK HSE Best
Day One will also be suitable for those wishing a management overview of RBI and is
available as a one day only attendance.
We will explore the basis of Risk, Consequences and Likelihood of Failures in the process industry and
how they are used to rank risk. The team approach, skills and input required for successful RBI. How to
consider incomplete or inaccurate data, risk revision and mitigation activities.
The benefits and costs of Qualitative, Semi-Qualitative and Quantitative RBI will be explored along with
effectiveness of inspection techniques.
