During summer vacation, I couldn’t attend English Concentration Program by OIA because I had to take the
summer classes. After summer class, in August, I enrolled English institute for TOEIC and studied TOEIC,
especially grammar which is my weak point. After I took a TOEIC exam and got a score of 830.
After opening this semester, NUBI Buddy activity is restarted. I am NUBI AJOU which is the group for
helping adaptation of GSIS(Graduate School of International Studies) students. My buddy is African from
Cameroon. We have contacted by e-mail and sometimes meet together to take a meal. In September, NUBI
planed Korean lecture and I attended it. It was great time to talk with GSIS and exchange students naturally.
I particularly enrolled English classes a lot to prepare for the exchange student program. Even if my major is
environmental, I took many business classes as my minor. Because the classes of Business department are
usually opened in both Korean and English, taking business classes provides good condition for English. I
enrolled Finance management, Business Probability modeling, Organization Behavior, Environmental Fluid
In particular, Organization Behavior class (Prof. Do yong Kim) is special for me. Prof. Kim said this class is
project class for study of international organization behavior and student’s intercultural experience. And then
Korean students are just 10 including me among 60 students. There are exchange students from a variety of
countries. I can naturally talk with them to take class and process team project. I think this class is a best
preventive injection for exchange student program. @ £E
