Unformatted text preview: From personal experience I have been accompanied by my friend who was applying to schools with a great GPA and good test scores but didn’t get in and another kid with Hispanic decent got into that same school with similar grades and test scores although a little worse. I did not form any opinions because I did not want to judge but my friend immediately did contesting that race was taken into account and that that he was unfairly denied from the school.
