Dance 45: 2 nd  Class 23:28 Space : a place that dance takes place in (bedroom, shower, ballroom…) Shape - an aspect of space; the form that something takes place in space  (positive space is anything that is feel or that you can touch; negative space is  something that you cannot touch) Time - a photograph captures a moment in time and dance always occurs over  time as a sequence of time; Rhythm is how we structure that sequence Flow-  is whether or not you constrict the energy or bound it Form - broad overarching rules, is ballet Style- deals with the variations you see within the form (Russian, Italian, British) Subjective - expression of feeling Choreographic - the sequence of steps and movements in dance or figure  skating, esp. in a ballet or other staged dance Content - the specific movements and ideas within a dance, or reoccurring for a
