In order to justify whether the employer is “at will” employer, it is very important to the know explanation for the termination from the employer. Based on the explanation, we can further explore the possibility of any ethics violations or various types of discrimination in this explanation. There are several considerations regarding this case. Did the employer have the right to terminate the plaintiff without any explanation? Is there enough evidence to show that there are ethical violations or discriminations against the plaintiff? The defendant is responsible for explaining the details of the contract for his or her employee. In this case, we know that the job offer which she obtained stated that it was a great opportunity with a good salary. However, it did not say anything about the termination of the job. Thus, the Plaintiff claims to be wrongfully terminated, as well as a victim of sex discrimination. This claim is based on both the vague contract and her own situation.
