Hunter Sapp Geography 135 Summit Individual Writing 1 The Stockholm Memorandum on global sustainability is really the calling for the leaders of tomorrow to get their act together to ensure the earth’s tomorrow will always be there and potentially prosperous. The two key aspects that the group hopes fix is, first, solving the problems that are we are currently facing before there is a major crisis. This can be stopped by reversing environmental trends and fix the institutions that cause this behavior. The next aspect is to provide long term assurance that the earth will always be as green and blue as she once was. This can be solved by progressively altering the institutions and policies that maintain and progress society so that they also maintain the earth. The only way this can ultimately be solved is if we, the human race, actively engage and learn how to adapt and use innovation to create a peacefully coexistence with Mother Nature.
