It is due at the beginning of lab on Thursday, February 1, 2000. The previous assignments were made to broaden understanding of the thermal principles. When thermal comfort processes are understood, then design decisions affecting comfort can begin. Hourly heat gains or losses are calculated either to establish building envelope materials, equipment sizing for extreme of “design” conditions or approximate energy consumption for typical or “normal” conditions.
