You don’t have to do it in the order it’s written! Do all the easy ones frst. Make sure you try the ones worth more points earlier. ... but. . Don’t get stuck on one question and run out oF time For the others. Pace yourselF. Don’t rush and get ±ustered. You can always skip a question and come back later. Another question may help you. Write your thoughts/working on scratch paper so you can see how you answered it later. Multiple choice strategies Read the question and try to answer beFore looking at the choices. IF you are stuck, eliminate the answers that you know are wrong, so you have Fewer options to choose From. More than one answer may look correct. Choose the *BEST* or *CLOSEST* answer. Calculation question strategies Write any Formula and constants you may need by the question List the values oF all variables supplied. One unknown - solve it (You may need to rearrange to get the unknown on its own.) More than one unknown - use multiple steps (Is there another equation you can use to fnd one oF the unknowns?) Unit analysis to make sure your Formula is right and that everything cancels. Change g to kg! Does your answer seem the right magnitude? 4 5 6
