As people, we are a part of this system, a very important part b/c we have cognitive abilities that allow us to act outside our instinct if necessary and to make decisions. That is why it is important for humans to be respectful and mindful of the environment around them, because we have the power to control what happens to the beaches around us, the forests, etc. That is why I am here today to teach you about the nature of the ocean you wish to work in and around. You need to know how to respond to your environment and what territory is unsafe, in order to protect yourself and the people on the beach. The animals/plants of the ocean have just as much right to be here as we do. As long as we understand how the life systems of the ocean work, we can enjoy it, right beside all the creatures that live here. Science gives names to different kinds of sub-topic study areas it has, like astrology, or biology, etc. Can anyone tell me the scientific term for the study of life systems? - Ecology We are going to explore together today the life systems of the ocean and its surrounding shoreline.
