It is produced by the gear box or generator ) and aerodynamic ( due to the interaction of airflow of the blade. This tends to increase with the speed of the rotation). The solution to this could be to operate at a lower rotation speed which will help minimize aerodynamic noise in low wind conditions. Reducing the number of blades can reduce the aerodynamic noise as well. Special quieter gears, mounting equipment on resilient mounts, and using acoustic enclosures or eliminating the gearbox are methods used to decrease the mechanical noise. 2.) Electromagnetic inference- If the wind turbines are situated between radio, tv, or microwaves, they can reflect some of the electromagnetic waves.
