Response Paper #3 Revenge Revenge is a very broad term but the idea of it is coined often in mythology. The idea of the Gods getting revenge on the mortals for doing a wrong or disobeying them or Gods getting revenge on other Gods because of the line of authority and their failure to respond to the highest power within them. Sometimes we see revenge being taken for an unjust act and try to get even.
