1 EE450 – Computer Networks Nazarian Summer 2011 University of Southern California Department of Electrical Engineering Course Description This course provides an in-depth discussion and analysis of the global Internet, with focus on the design principles, layering and protocol design and analysis. Topics covered include the Internet structure and architecture, Transport and congestion control protocols, socket programming, network layer and routing protocols, link layer and MAC protocols, network applications and internetworking.
