Motivating Employees I believe that at times, some employees can be motivated by a manager. This is more an exception than the rule. Motivation for some people come from within the employee them self. On rare occasions there are managers that get to a personal level with the employees and as a result the employees are motivated by friendship. Other times managers try to motivate by fear only to have employees quit. Motivation for an employee is a difficult thing to keep track of because everyone wants to do their job when someone important is around but as soon as they leave things are back to the
