Unformatted text preview: The teacher really focused on the work that the children were engaged in. She seemed to be excited about the progress that the children were making in class. Unlike Pat Mims this teacher did not on the practicalities, this teacher seemed to truly take pleasure in watching the progress of the children. All of this points to the fact that we as teachers must always have a positive attuide going into our classes. This not only helps the children. But it helps us as well. Sure the practicalities of the class need to be dealt with. These give structure to the days for both children and the teacher, but the children need to be made just as important. I once heard that you are not a teacher until you have actually taught someone something....
