What is IHE? IHE is an initiative to improve the use of IT in healthcare. IHE fosters the adoption of standards-based solutions to HIT interoperability. IHE convenes stakeholders to develop implementation guides, IHE Profiles , for coordinated use of standards to address specific use cases. IHE conducts testing events for HIT systems to ensure their conformance to IHE Profiles. 6/28/2011 2
