Jeremy Pflug BIS 630 Story – Reflection Paper I began this assignment by researching the history of Delta and looking deeper into the “nature” of a phone call. Within my research, I developed a better sense of how my company came about and why there is a sense of pride within each and every Delta Airline employee. I was also able to analyze a phone call and understand why the process is so successful and why Delta wins many awards each year for customer service and quality. When researching the history of Delta and seeing how far the company has come, especially recently. After going into bankruptcy, Delta Airlines joined together as a company to fight the dismal economy and still provide excellent service and quality. Many employees took pay and benefit cuts because they believe in the Delta brand. My mother was one of these people and I really didn’t understand why she did it until I began working for Delta. Customers don’t say it a lot but they appreciate the extra step that Delta takes in providing the services that we do. After digging in deeper into the history, I began to understand why Delta has the quality
