Intercultural communication skills are very important in nowadays life. They are required to
communicate, or share information, with people from other cultures and social groups. While
language skills may be an important part of intercultural communication, they are by no means
the only requirement.
Intercultural communication also requires an understanding that different cultures have different
customs, standards, social mores, and even thought patterns. Context plays a significant role at
that point. There are two kinds of context: high and low. For example, in low context culture, like
American, consider being late is disrespectful, while in high-context culture, like Arabian, it is
common to be late for up to half an hour or sometimes longer is appropriate. Another example is
