Lab Eight [30 points + 5 points extra credit] This lab has only one part for which you must write one program/algorithm. Please sub- mit a zip file of the project folder when you turn in your assignment via KS Online. Try to work through the lab on your own, but if you get stuck, ask a neighbor or the instructor for help. Just be sure that you understand everything that you turn in. In this lab you will gain experience using character arrays (a.k.a. strings) in C programs. In the past labs we’ve focused on using numeric data in our programs. In this lab, you will focus on the use of character data. The Problem You must write an algorithm and program that allows the user to enter their first and last name, and then prints their first name with the letters in reverse order. The program must then print a message that says whether or not the first name is a palindrome , that is, whether or not the name is spelled the same forward and backward. You may as- sume that the user’s complete name is at most 50 characters long.
