Colleagues: on Monday, April 11 we will have our Examen 3. it will include Ortega, J. R. Jimenez, Miguel Hernandez and the 6 principal members of the Generation of 1927. It will 4 main sections: a. Short ID, like reason for name Gen. of 1927, characteristics of their art, nobel prize for literature and medicine winners we've mentioned. b. Short answer and ID authors, like we have had on the other 2 exams. I know that there are lots of poems, but to study for this section, I suggest that you make a list of authors, titles of each poem and a 1 sentence summary of what the poem was about. Your homework should help you. In a couple of cases, I have paid particular attention to a particular brillant metaphor, which you should review. c. We have/ will have read 4 poems that deal with death in particular: J. R. Jimenez "El viaje definitivo", Cernuda "Cementerio en la ciudad", Garc'ia Lorca "Llanto para Ignacio S'anchez Mejias" and Miguel Hernandez "Eleg'ia a Ram'on Sije". I'll ask you to write a paragraph giving the view of death
