Apple History Apple III was next in 1980 Per Jobs – shipped without cooling fan Units had to be recalled to include a fan Apple III+ came out in 1983 but was a failure due to poor publicity Apples primary growth in the early 80’s was in the education field Also in 1983 Apple released the Lisa, the first computer sold to the public using a GUI

Apple History In 1984 Apple released the first Macintosh In 1985 an internal power struggle between Jobs and John Scully led to Jobs departure Jobs started NeXT computers which never made any major move in the market In 1989 Apple produced their first Portable Apples next product in 1991 was the Macintosh Portable Designed and produced by Sony called PowerBook 100 Apple also upgraded their operating system in 1991 which was used till 2001 (System 7)
