Each and every day, humans pollute the Earth by smoking, driving, littering, and we don’t take enough time to think about our actions and how it impacts the world we live in. Scientific evidence has convinced some people that there is actually a connection between human activities and global warming. The movie, An Inconvenient Truth effectively shows how deleterious our actions are to the world. In Physics class, we learned that the greenhouse effect is a natural process that warms Earth’s lower atmosphere and surface. A rise in temperature as a result of the greenhouse effect occurs when Earth absorbs more solar radiation than it emits back into space. Much of the sun's energy reaches Earth as visible light. Earth’s atmosphere retains heat at the surface. Greenhouse energy reaches Earth as visible light....
