Megan Carter Reflective Essay #1 GEO 221; Dr. Green August 25, 2010 Dear diary, It sure is nice to back in Oxford. I like it here better than Leesburg, OH because it’s closer to the city. I drove my 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee with my mom following behind in her 2007 Saturn Ion the entire 92.5-mile adventure. I hate how she falls so far behind me, even when I try and go way under the speed limit to help her catch up. Basically I woke up at 7am, showered, had breakfast, finished packing, then left by 8am with my little brother Matt in the passenger’s seat beside me. My mom followed close behind, as we went down my road and turned onto Ohio-28 West. We followed that through Leesburg, until we turned on to US-62 West. It was a pain that we had to drive all the way through Hillsboro to pick up Matt’s girlfriend, Sam, in Vera Cruz, but they were coming to help me get moved-in, so that was nice. On 62 W it was corn, soybeans, wheat. Corn, soybeans, wheat. Over and over. We even got stuck behind a tractor! But because everything was still covered in dew you could smell
