1. What is a DBMS? Describe its operations. (7 points) Answer: Database software, also known as a database management system (or DBMS) is used to create databases. Users can add, change and delete data in the database, sort and retrieve data from the database, and create reports and forms from the data in a database. 2. What is validation?
