The core principle of the Juche ideology is that Kim Il Sung is the master of everything and decides everything. Juche literally means "main body" Kim Il Sung – He was the North Korean leader from its founding until his death, when he was succeeded by his son Kim Jong-il . As leader of North Korea, he ended up switching from a Marxistt ideology to his self-developed juche idea. North Korea officially refers to him as the "Great Leader" and he is designated in the constitution as the country's " Eternal President ".
