Whole Foods 1. Using the ABC model of an attitude, analyze what John Mackey’s online comments about Wild Oats reveal about his attitudes. Using the ABC model to analyze Mackey’s statements revealed that his Cognition towards the acquisition of Wild Oats was that he did not want to go through with the deal. His affect towards wild oats is that he loves Whole Foods and would do anything for the company including purchasing Wild Oats even if it went against his personal grudge with Wild Oats. His Behavior is easily identified throughout his post when he discusses how Whole Foods would surely not purchase Wild Oats at the current prices. His intentions 2.
