PSY 336 SUMMER SESSION 3 FINAL PAPER ASSIGNMENT The final paper in this class will be to explore an area of developmental psychology more deeply and be exposed to research in that area. The paper will be worth 20 points. Steps for completing the paper: 1. Think about topics and studies that have interested you in this class, and formulate a research question. Examples include: What is the effect of poverty on language development? What is the effect of infant temperament on personality in middle childhood? How does memory capacity change across early childhood? How do parent-child relationships affect adolescent substance use? 2. Use an online database (PsycInfo is most recommended) to select three empirical articles that help to answer your research question. You may find that no studies have been conducted on your research question. In that case, you may have to tailor your research question to suit what research exists. Empirical articles describe scientific research studies.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
