Stoic Philosophy: way of life; way of living your life.; way of veiwing things; a practice; not born with it; daily pracyice to try and get it correct; becomes apart of you Persians practice/ exercise sage or slave: dont practice it, your a slave; not intellectually in charge of your own life; not literally a slave women: were believed to be incapable of practicing it. Mans practice. Theory of god: God is immanant; god is everywhere. All powerful. Immanent reason: god is also reason (intellect); depecits intelligence; all knowing 'fate' :god could be called fate ; bc in stoic interpretaton, you don not have free will. Smallest detail: god is advocate in the smallest of details in this universe. universe/activity: history of the universe is gods activity in the universe. Theory Logic: whats inside truth about the past is necessary:once something is done and gone, it is out of your hands. Past is something to be recognized as “has been” and is gone. Dont live in the past. Acknowledge
