Discuss ways in which you can prepare yourself for assuming roles that are aligned to your goals in professional nursing practice. How do you plan to acquire the knowledge and skills needed for a constantly changing healthcare environment? In work and in life, it is becoming increasingly important to set goals for personal and professional growth. Investigate areas of your life and/or personality that could do with a little change and/or development. Goals should be set based on what you want to be, what you want to do and what you want to have. Develop a personal development plan or a personal growth chart. Personal goals should include friendships, relationships, spiritual life, health and financial affairs. Professional goals include work, education and professional ambitions.
