There have been many debates about whether a mother has a right to choose what happens to her unborn child or if the unborn fetus has a right to a chance at life. Persons opposed to abortion believe that the fetus is human and is entitled to the same right given to all humanity. Those who hold to the right to choose maintain that the right to privacy regarding health care decisions includes a womans reproductive choices, implying that governmental regulation is an infringement on this privacy (SUO, digital bookshelf). The decision of when a persons life should end is determined by God or otherwise should be a personal choice. If a person has the ability to make decisions and decides that they no longer want treatment then it should be their right to refuse any and all treatments.
