Physics 221 Prerequisites This is a calculus-based physics course. Mathematics is extensively used. The mathematics requirements are: • Proficiency in algebra, geometry and trigonometry • Proficiency in elementary differential and integral calculus If you don’t have these fundamentals, you should consider dropping the course and/or taking remedial math courses

The help room opens at 8 a.m. tomorrow • Download the Written Homework sets . These are due every week at the beginning of recitation on Tuesdays starting Aug 30 • Register for MasteringPhysics online homework : due Tuesdays at 8:00 a.m. starting Aug 30
