Court Visitation Assignment Michael Blankenship CJ 101-003 Introduction to Criminal Justice Spring, 2008 (1) Date, time, and courtroom number On April 24, 2008, I visited the Ada County Courthouse between 1:00 and 4:00 PM. I spent the entire time in Room 507. (2) Judge’s name The Honorable Judge Michael Wetherell was the presiding judge. (3) Type of hearing (arraignment, preliminary hearing, guilty plea/plea bargain, trial) There were 10 felony cases processed during today’s proceedings. Some were arraignments, some were guilty pleas, and some were preliminary hearings. (4) Case(s) information (offense(s), bail, type of attorney (private or court- appointed), plea/disposition - not guilty, guilty. Was this case plea bargained?)
