Nick Gomez Reba Bailey English 101-003 22 October 2010 Exploration 2 Moffat first started off with a type of historical research that compared his days in college to actually being in the dorms ten and twenty years later. This added to his work by giving him more of an idea of how things have changed and how things have stayed the same. He is able to work on the inside and see the point of view of a student and what they go through along with certain characteristics that they have, just as well as the changes of student culture or lack there of in each generation. He also produced his research through books and past recorded research and also did the comparisons between then and the time in which he was observing. His research even extended to movies and pieces of “artwork” in which students created and that was created for the public to get a better idea of this so-called college life style. Each type of research done by Moffat was then compared to what he was seeing in his observations of the current college
