Unformatted text preview: • Rinse hands well under running water. • Dry your hands using a paper towel, use your paper towel to turn off the faucet. This activity was very successful because the students were able to watch me wash my hands properly. It was also very helpful for them to have a poster for them to see the steps. (I also had pictures with each step.) The only change I would make to this activity is have a smaller group. I had 7 children; which made it more difficult to get their full attention. Although I had a larger group than expected; I felt this activity was successful. I heard multiple children say the their parents that they knew how to wash their hands and wanted to show them....
