Work on computing assignments in declared pairs (as the course outline describes), or individually if you prefer. If you do not yet have an ORIE network account, request one later today from intranet.orie.cornell.edu : ask the TA for a temporary account. Login and open a web browser. • Go to www.ampl.com • Click on download the Student Edition . Bring your AMPL book to recitations: if you don’t have it yet, click on download chapter 1 of the AMPL book and save the document on your Desktop. Now follow the instructions below to download AMPL. • Click on amplcml.zip in Step 2 of the web page. • Save the zip file to your Desktop. • Close the download window and browser. • Double-click amplcml.zip to unzip it, and save on your Desktop the resulting folder, amplcml .
