ANALYSIS OF ELECTRONIC PAYMENT SYSTEMS 2 Analysis of Electronic Payment Systems There are seven different categories of business models; Information broker, transaction broker, online marketplace, content provider, social network, portal, and service provider. A service provider provides the Web 2.0 applications that provide photosharing, video sharing and user generated content as well as online data storage and backup. There is an initial entry point to the Web that entails specialized content and service which is called a portal, Yahoo! Is an excellent example of a portal. Social networking has become very popular for a way to get information and communicate with others, the most popular one now seems to be Facebook.com.
