INTRODUCTIONThe purpose of study of Strategic Human Resource Management (SHRM) is to help thehuman resources managers to identify and satisfying employee needs along with achievement oforganizational goals. The basic role of Human Resource Management is to deal with all aspectsor changes in organization which may impact the employees. These aspects may include hiring,benefits, changes in company policy, work incentives, and impact on employees due toorganizational changes. The effective human resource management increases the productivity ofemployees which is necessary to get the competitive advantage in the industry (Beyazitoglu,2010). The paper will deeply focus on Strategic Human Resource Management andOrganizational behavior at Microsoft Corporation. The paper would help in identifying theorganizational changes in the company. In addition to this, the paper will also to understand themanager’s ability to manage changes in the organization to maintain the competitive position ofthe company.1.2 OVERVIEW OF THE COMPANY: MICROSOFT CORPORATIONMicrosoft Corporation is a multinational company founded by Bill Gates and Paul Allenin the year 1975. Microsoft has employed more than 55,000employees in over 80 countries at different parts of the world.
