Florida International University Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering CEG-4012 Geotechnical Engineering II Spring Term 2010 Course Parameters Learning Objectives: The student will be exposed to various theoretical and practical methods of analysis and design of engineering foundations, through the use of slides, videos, handouts, classroom demonstrations, field trips, discussions, weekly quizzes and essay projects. Each mode of instruction will also serve as a test of the student’s growing comprehension of the subject. Students will have available a weekly appraisal of their progress.
