along with advancements in today’s technology are among these. Demographics have a major role in the delivery of healthcare. Demographics frequently decide if someone can obtain healthcare. Unfortunately, several rural districts do not have access to physicians due to the lack of facilities, or they cannot afford it. However, today there are plenty of ways to provide care that can allow providers to give quality care, and it is more cost efficient. The advancement in technology is a major force in the delivery of healthcare. Diagnostic testing and treatments, medical technology have all changed because of these technological advancements. X-rays are faster and more detailed, treatment options are different because if a doctor is unsure what exactly is wrong they can reach out to other physicians or access a medical website to see how other physicians might have treated you diagnosis. With all the changes in technology it is now easier to get test results, orderprescriptions and practice medicine. Impact of Forces With all things you have a challenge, and that is no different with the above-mentioned forces. With these forces you have a challenge of healthcare professionals lacking the quality care of their patients. The technology advancements offer a great opportunity for those in rural areas. Due to the advancements people in rural areas who might not have been able to get quality care before now have the chance as long as the advancements are welcomed by the delivery system. Cryo-cell International (CIK 000862692, SIC 8090) is the company I conducted research on. Their main location is in Oldsmar, Florida however, they have many facilities around the globe. Cryo-Cell allows parents cryogenically freeze the stem cells from birth. If a family member becomes ill, then the stem cells can be used to help them. They also have the option to donate stem cells instead of freezing them, or they can
choose neither of these options and discard the cells. Cryo-Cell was first founded in 1989 and is the worlds first private blood bank to store and separate stem cells, in 1992.
