20:44 Positive aspects of Weber’s theory: Weber expands our idea’s beyond simple class division, and a more  complex conception, social inequality based on status and political  organization Saw that power and political party is based on more than ownership  and wealth Are people politically organized in their own interests, ethnic  hierarchy, status groups Weber’s legacy is he made a model of social inequality that’s more  encompassing than Marx’s, we should also note Weber’s conception  if inequality matches the hierarchy we live in today, whether or not our  conception of class hierarchy is correct or not is the question  Thinking about how we learn about social reality, moved away from  universal laws, its too soon were not going to find them, instead he  asks us to focus on social action instead and on the way people  interpret people actions and their own actions, its ironic that Weber
