On examination:- Antalgic in a position of lumbar flexion and left lateral flexion. - SLR unremarkable - Motor and sensory functions intact in the lower limbs. Case 4 11/18/09 3 A 30 year-old woman presents with 4/52 of central lower back pain which began gradually. On examination:- Lumbar spine non-tender - Motor and sensory functions intact in the lower limbs. - SLR did not evoke leg pain though produced sharp lumbar pain at approx 20 degrees on either side.
