DeVry University CIS474 Senior Project I Design Specification Team: Team 3 Team Members: Darryen Stump, Zakiya Matlock, Chris Bonilla, Daryl Mitra, Dytrick Whiters Date: 6/14/2020 Project Title: Metrics Tracking Team Leader: Darryen Stump 1. Problem Statement The client currently has a good data gathering system in place, but not a way to organize said data. It is extremely difficult for a Program Manager to filter the data, organizing it into more readable information for analysis. 2. Project Scope Program will include a GUI with login and registration options for access. Empty spreadsheets will be generated and can be saved on the local device. Data in spreadsheets will be sortable and convertible into several types of charts. 3. Database Specifications 3.1. Database Description Define the type of database that will be used to store and manage the system’s data. The type of database we will be utilizing is Microsoft Access, it has the capability to store information and also allows the developer to create graphs and forms which will benefit the team to be a little flexible during the integration phase. Program Architecture This section is best completed with either a Physical DFD (SAD) or a Class Diagram (OOAD). The purpose is to define the physical architecture of the programs as they interface with each other.
